The City of Shawano is host to many amazing events throughout the year.  Our Parks & Recreation Department coordinates events such as Thursdayz at Franklin, The Naberhood Block Party, Easter Egg Hunts, and many more as well as works with many of our non-profits and other area businesses to provide additional event opportunities to our residents and visitors.  Partnerships with area groups and non-profits are vital in continuing the efforts to provide a wide variety of events for all to enjoy! 

One of our biggest partnerships is with our Downtown Business District.  They host many events throughout the year that help to showcase our amazing Historic Downtown.
