Electric Rate Case 5350-ER-110

   The change is necessary to reflect changes in operating costs, purchase power costs, and a need to review and adjust the rate tariff structure.

The requested increase in revenue is an overall increase of $621,045.

   The actual change to individual customers will vary with electricity usage, class of service and the ultimate rates authorized by the Commission.  If the PCSW proposed rates are approved, the average residential and general service customer will see an increase of 1.02% and 7.03% respectively.  Large general service customers will receive an average increase of 1.47%.  Small power and large power services will receive an average increase of 1.26% and 1.24% respectively.  Industrial power and large industrial power customers will receive an average increase of 1.09% and 7.05% respectively. 

   A telephonic hearing on the application has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the River Room at the Shawano City Hall, 125 S Sawyer Street, Shawano, Wisconsin.  Scheduling questions regarding this hearing may be directed to the Commission's docket coordinator, Tanner Blair at 608-267-3592.

   A person may testify in this proceeding without becoming a party and without attorney representation.  A person may submit this testimony in only one of the following ways:

   •  Web Comment.  Go to the Commission's web site at, click on the "Public Comments" button on the side menu bar.  On the next page select the "File a comment" link that appears for docket number 5350-ER-110.  Web comments shall be received no later than the day before the hearing.

   •  Oral Comment.  Spoken testimony at the public session.

   •  Written Comment.  Instead of speaking at the hearing, write out a comment and submit it at the public session.

   •  Mail Comment.  All comments submitted by U.S. Mail shall be received no later than the day before the hearing.  A mail comment shall include the phrase "Docket 5350-ER-110 Comments" in the heading, and shall be address to:
