Shawano Police Department
The Shawano Police Department is seeking to fill one part-time vacancy for a Community Service Officer.  The Community Service Officer is a civilian non-sworn position with the Police Department.

We are looking for a person with strong problem-solving skills, who is team oriented and a strong communicator.  We want someone who can make a difference and is proud to serve the Shawano community.

Minimum Requirements:
     1. A United States Citizen and at least 18 years of age
     2. A high school graduate or possess a GED
     3. No felony or domestic violence related convictions
     4. Possess a current valid WI driver's license

Starting salary for entry level is $9.85/hour.  Primary hours will be weekdays, evenings and some weekends.

Shawano Fire Department
The Shawano Area Fire Department is expanding the employee list for Fire Fighters.  They protect the City of Shawano and Townships of Belle Plaine, Richmond, Waukechon and Wescott.  All applicants will be considered for employment and training will be provided for successful candidates.
