Every five years, the City of Shawano creates a new Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan or C.O.R.P. This year the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission is facilitating this process for us. This important document gives direction to staff on how to spend financial, human and resources of time. (I.e. when, where, why, how.) Thus, as a member of our community, your input is extremely important and necessary to create the best plans moving forward. This document is specific to the City of Shawano Parks and Recreation projects and programs.
In the link you will find two documents. The survey will take less than 10 minutes, please complete it and then share this link with your friends, family and any organizations you may be a part of. The second document is the Mapping Tool - areas highlighted in yellow represent public spaces in our city. Please select “Add Comment” at the top of your screen and then move the map around so that the “+” “place marker here” icon is hovering over the park you want to leave your comment at. Feel free to leave as many as you desire.
