The City of Shawano annually bids its Street and Utility Reconstruction Program. Each year the city evaluates the condition of the streets using the State rating system (PASER). Problems with the underground utilities are determined through annual maintenance, reviewing current records and televising. The city repairs approximately 2 miles of streets each year between the Street and Utility Reconstruction Program and the Pulverize and Relay Program
