COVID-19 Response


We do ask that if you are experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms that you contact the Municipal Court Clerk via phone or email to reschedule.  You can also contact the City Attorney to attempt to work out a plea deal.  

Face masks are no longer required however, you are welcome to wear them. 

​Vision

The vision of the Shawano-Bonduel Municipal Court is that all participants in our court process, together with the community at large, will appreciate that this court impartially adjudicates ordinance violation cases consistently, such that the legal rights of individuals are safeguarded and the public interests of the residents of the City of Shawano and the Village of Bonduel are protected.

​Jurisdiction 

Pursuant to Wisconsin statutes, the Municipal Court deals exclusively with non-criminal cases involving city/village ordinance violations in the form of traffic citations, Municipal Code violations, and parking tickets. Offenses brought before our court are violations that occur within the City of Shawano or Village of Bonduel limits. Click here for more information on our court system.

From Interstate 29 - Take Exit 225 for State Highway 22; head north on Highway 22 (this will turn into Main Street); turn right onto Division Street (second set of stop lights); go one block; at the four-way stop (intersection of Division and Sawyer Streets) take a left onto Sawyer Street; 1/2 way up the block will be the City Hall/Police Department building; the Municipal Courtroom is located in the back part of the City Hall/Police Department Building. Court sessions are held various Thursday's of the month beginning at 3:00 pm.
