EMERGENCY WARNING SIREN

On Monday April 1st, SMU staff will be removing the Emergency Warning Siren at Smalley Park to accommodate the Riverside Dr. reconstruction and the Smalley Park pavilion and improvement project, both expected to begin the first two weeks of April. The revolving warning siren at Smalley Park will be relocated to the north Main Street Fire Station to replace the old, and less effective, stationary siren currently mounted there. Once construction of the Riverside Drive and the park improvements are complete, the Fire Department will asses the need and best location to restore and enhance warning siren coverage to the west service area.
