Pulverize and Relay Program

Each year the City evaluates the condition of city streets using the State rating system (PASER). The assessments are used to develop the city's 5 year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for street maintenance. The City's street pulverize and relay program provides for full depth replacement of existing city streets . The difference between the Major Street Reconstruction Program and the Pulverizing and Relay Program is that the existing underground utilities are deemed to be in adequate condition and not replaced in the pulverize and relay process.

Streets selected for the 2017 Pulverize and Relay program include:
Southview Court (Ridlington to cul-de-sac)
Lee Court (Ridlington to cul-de-sac)
Third Street (Washington to Main)
